In my opinion it would be better if the Malaysian authorities would allow all religions to speak freely rather than charge people with sedition. As a Christian I wouldn't mind someone trying convince me of Islam or that Christianity is false as long as they allow the same freedom to the other faiths to convince Muslims/ Christians otherwise. Fair & square.
So I guess this message is also to Christians to be more confident in your God/ Allah since he is Almighty. In my understanding an Almighty God will never lose his true ppl and the ones that rebel/ turn away are ones that the Almighty probably turned away in the first place if he were truly in power above the will of man. As it is written in Malachi 1:2-3 “I have loved you,” says the LORD. But you say, “How have you loved us?” “Is not Esau Jacob's brother?” declares the LORD. “Yet I have loved Jacob but Esau I have hated. I have laid waste his hill country and left his heritage to jackals of the desert.” That being said let all sides fight their fight till the day of reckoning comes lo.
As a wise man once said in the book of Acts Ch5 v38: So in the present case I tell you, keep away from these men (Christian apostles) and let them alone, for if this plan or this undertaking is of man, it will fail; but if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow them. You might even be found opposing God!” Christians have long known the cost of being wrong or false so much so that we will suffer injustice as long as the truth is known. Hence I will speak of Christ even if you put us to death.
